Portarlington u13 hurling team are through to the championship finals day in the Laois COE.

Our u13s hosted Clonaslee St Manmans on a very humid evening. Port hurlers were quickest from the blocks with goals from Rory O Dwyer, Ryan Murphy Aaron Walsh, & Callum Walsh. This put Port in a great position heading into the second half. Tristan Gallagher, Maitiu Hopkins, Ryan Murphy, Rory O' Dwyer, and Aaron Walsh added 6 points to the scoreboard to give Portarlington a victory of 5-06 to 2-02.

This was a good performance from the lads. They showed great heart and determination to hold on for a good win. Again, our defence stood up very strong this evening with our two midfielders working very hard in the middle of the field to control the game.

The final will be played on Saturday the 23rd of Sept, and we wish the lads the best of luck in the final.

They really deserve to get this far, especially with the effort they have put in throughout the league and championship.
