The u15 footballers got their season off to a winning start against Portlaoise in McCann Park this evening, on a score line of 4-12 to 0-8.

Port were down 4 points to no score early in the first half , while playing against the wind but they fought their way back into the game to go in at half time leading.

Port kicked on in the second half with some brilliant team play and scores to win out well in the end.

The development team are at home to Portlaoise on Thursday.

The next U15 game is next Wednesday at home to Ballyroan Abbey at 6.30.
