Our u13 hurlers played Colt Shanahoe, in the 3rd round of the hurling league.

Portarlington started off very strong in the first half with great goals from Ryan Murphy and Ben Petriw. Half time score Portarlington 2-03 to Shanahoe 0-04 points.

Portarlington started the second half with the strong breeze and continued to motor on as they did in the first half. With 5 minutes to go a crisp pass from Aaron Walsh to Ryan Murphy sent the ball to the back of the net, sealing the victory for Portarlington.

This was a great team performance with excellent work throughout.

Sean Connolly Horan, held the back line very well. An impressive performance in the middle with Nathan Hayes and Ryan Judge. Their work rate was phenomenal. Stand out performances in the forwards were Ryan Murphy and Aaron Walsh, with some excellent linkage play between them.
