Portarlington travelled to O'Dempseys for the Under 13 championship on a beautiful evening for football.

It was a game of two halves with O'Dempseys having the upper hand with the aid of slight breeze up to half time.

A come back was on the cards with a Portarlington goal in the first few minutes of the restart. Portarlington continued to claw there way back in this competitive match and had a few scoring opportunities that just failed to reach the target.

In the end a single score separated the sides in a very entertaining and well contested game.

There were a few fantastic performances with Luke Dunne and Sean Connolly to name but a few on the Portarlington side.

Final Score O'Dempseys 3-12 v Portarlington 3-8.
